Frequently Asked Questions
Clear, practical answers about our methods and general vehicle care.
This depends heavily on usage and the time of year. A commuter vehicle driving daily in UK winter conditions may benefit from a wash every two weeks to remove salt and grit. A summer weekend car might only need washing once a month. The goal is to prevent long-term buildup without over-washing, which can introduce wear.
Winter salt is highly corrosive. We approach it with a prolonged, touchless pre-wash stage, using citrus cleaners and snow foams to dissolve and encapsulate the salt. Thorough pressure rinsing of the lower panels, sills, and arches is crucial before any wash mitt makes contact with the paint.
A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds with the factory clear coat. It provides a durable, hydrophobic (water-repellent) layer that makes the vehicle easier to clean and offers mild resistance to chemical etching from bird droppings. It is not permanent and does not prevent stone chips.
Our interior care covers thorough vacuuming, dusting of vents and touch points, wiping down dashboard and trim surfaces with non-greasy products, and cleaning interior glass. Deep stain extraction on seats or carpets requires specific evaluation.
We cannot guarantee the complete removal of strong, deep-seated odours (such as heavy smoke or severe damp). We use thorough cleaning, targeted enzyme treatments, and specific methods to significantly reduce odours, but results vary depending on how long the source has been present.
Pet hair weaves itself tightly into automotive carpet fibres. While we use specialized brushes and techniques that dramatically reduce the amount of pet hair, removing every single strand is often practically impossible without damaging the carpet pile.
Machine polishing can reduce the appearance of swirl marks, light wash marring, and minor clear coat scratches. However, if a scratch can be easily caught with a fingernail, it has likely breached the clear coat and cannot be safely polished out. We never promise a "perfect" or "guaranteed showroom" finish.
Older vehicles often feature single-stage paint (no clear coat), delicate trim, and potential water ingress points. We adapt our process by using lower water pressure, milder chemicals, and highly cautious polishing techniques, depending on a thorough pre-inspection.
Yes. We provide regular maintenance routines for small business fleets, company cars, and vans to maintain presentation standards. This is arranged purely through an enquiry-based planning process based on your specific requirements.
Simply navigate to our Contact page, fill in your name, email, vehicle type, and a brief message regarding the service you are interested in. Submitting this form does not constitute a booking; it initiates a conversation about your vehicle's needs.
No. We do not process online payments, nor do we offer automated online booking functionality. Because vehicle condition dictates the required work, all services must be discussed and an inspection may be required first.
Results vary heavily depending on the vehicle's starting condition, age, and previous maintenance history. While our techniques aim to significantly improve cleanliness and gloss, we set realistic expectations tailored to each specific vehicle.
An inspection allows us to measure paint thickness, identify previous repairs, spot embedded contamination, and assess interior wear. This ensures we recommend the safest and most appropriate methods rather than guessing over an email.
Following an inspection, we provide a summary of the vehicle's condition and outline the practical steps that could be taken to improve or protect it. You are under no obligation to proceed, and recommendations are based purely on surface health.
