  • Product Choice: Different formulations have different expected lifespans.
  • Mileage & Usage: A car driven 20,000 miles a year on rural UK roads will degrade a coating faster than a weekend vehicle.
  • Weather Exposure: Constant exposure to UV rays, winter road salt, and harsh rain affects the layer.
  • Washing Habits: Using harsh acidic or highly alkaline chemicals at automated car washes will strip protective layers quickly.
